The best apparel speaks for itself through experience. It moves with your body through every phase of your day. And it quietly calls to you to put it on just one more time to get the most out of the next one.

So how’s it been going since we created our own algae-empowered activewear? We checked in with customers, community members, and outdoor journalists alike.

Powder’s Magazine's Phase Series Review
"Wearing the hoodie for a late season hike-to-ski mission? I’m certainly doing that. Putting on the pants for a sunset hike as temperatures drop? Absolutely. Relying on the tee to look nice at a work event? Check. Using the long-sleeve on a crisp morning run? Definitely. The beauty of this apparel line is that it’s for everyone. The neutral color palette allows these items to perform well in the mountains across a range of activities while still looking nice in the city."

I absolutely love this shirt! It fits well, is super soft, and dries incredibly fast. I'm a female, 5' 7" and usually wear a size small in women's clothing, the unisex XXS fits me perfectly! It's slimming enough to wear around town, but loose enough to wear on hikes without feeling restricted. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great all around casual shirt that still holds its own on technical adventures.”

All season comfort. Lake Tahoe, CA. Photo: Blain LeBlanc (@blainleblanc)

“The sleek design and endless comfort of this shirt has been a game changer for me. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this shirt in early February and mainly used it under my layers for ski touring. It fit nicely under my bibs and was cool yet warm enough to support me in my uphill skin. The thumb holes were a great addition when I was too warm to wear gloves but too cold to not have some coverage. I fell so in love with this shirt while touring that I had to give it a go as an around-town essential. Not only does it have a super flattering cut and comfy mock neck, but I have the option to dress it up under some overalls or with jeans, and the option to make it casual as a yoga LS or around the house doing chores. If you are looking for a looser fit, I would recommend sizing up as this is a form fitting shirt. I'm 5'9" typically wear a women's L and opted for the XL.”

“I acquired this hoodie because I was eager to find a new mid layer with more versatility. Right away I fell in love with the Advect. It’s breathable where it needs to be and offers enough protection from the wind and sun! I wear it scrambling in the high alpine and I wear it on cool mornings when I’m in the garden. There’s nothing the Advect can’t do!”

Versatile Diffusion

“My new go-to for every activity — hiking, mountain biking, climbing, lounging. Unbelievably breathable, stretch like my lulus, and the wicking is next level. The high-rise fit and adjustable waist are perfect for activities and the hidden pocket comes in handy way more than I thought. Will be buying the second color.”

DIFFUSE WOMEN'S PANT

Multisport Dispersion
“Big fan of these pants, they're super light and breathable so I use them all the time to climb in the gym, hit longer trail rides on these 100º Utah summer days, or even veg out on the couch. It's a dangerous thing to have a pair of pants with this much versatility because I have to make the conscious choice everyday to NOT wear these pants... I think the first week I owned them I LIVED in them because they were so comfortable.”
