Being in the mountains is where I feel most at peace and I've built a career out of helping to create those moments for others.

My professional ski guiding career started in Crested Butte, Colorado and I've been very fortunate to have gained experience leading trips with some of the best guides in the world in Norway, Japan, Alaska, France, Italy, Switzerland and throughout the Western US before moving to Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada and focusing my attention to the Selkirk Mountains.

In the past, I've had a big appetite for steep skiing, but lately I'm more focused on soft snow experiences and honest, repeatable decision making.

I'm very aware that our patterns as skiers and consumers have very negative consequences for our warming planet.

I've made conscious choices in my everyday life to limit my impact (including being a vegetarian of 15 years and a more conscious consumer) and now am making progress to help steer skiing toward a future that considers better alternatives - both socially and environmentally.

As the backcountry experience becomes more mainstream, I'm excited to be a part of change that will help our community make choices that are more in line with what we believe in as people. This means making choices with a focus toward renewable materials, re-commerce and overall planet-centric values as well as being more inclusive. I think WNDR aligns well with my goals as a skier and how I'd like to see skiing progress.
