Bought a pair of reverse camber Intention 108 skis for the 23/24 season in AK. Skied them all over the Anchorage area and never found a condition where they weren’t fun to ski. With the width and shape these skis undoubtedly ski powder well. They are very surfy and can easily slip sideways and dump speed. What surprised me the most was how well they ski crud, punchy wind board, and ice. The tip flex and rocker encouraged leaning into the tips and letting them ride up and over anything. Even with breakable wind board the tips would ride up and over, yet the tails wouldn't hook. On ice, the stiff platform underfoot was sure footed and confidence inspiring. As the quiver grows these will be my go to ski for unknown conditions.

My only complaint is that the skis are SLOW! In 20 years of BC skiing I’ve never had to religiously wax my skis. Despite waxing these skis for the conditions I never had as much glide as my ski partners. I believe the factory grind is too coarse for cold dry snow. I will be getting a finer base grind for the 24/25 season 🤞. Otherwise I’d give them 5 stars.

jack of all trades! excellent ski

Costal British Columbia skier here with 10 seasons of touring. after one full season on the reverse camber 108s, I can say these are best backcountry skis I've ever owned(have used atomic, g3, DPS, Rossi, etc). Super playful and fun in pow, can still hold an edge on hardpack/groomers and feels more damp/stable then my resort skis but without the weight. Reverse camber makes them very nimble in tighter trees but they have no problem making high speed super G turns in pow or on groomers. I was a bit hesitant as they were slightly heavier then my DPS Pagoda Tours, but the increase in confidence, edge hold and stability is WELL worth it. a daily driver for any PNW skier.

Creek Crossings, Pow, Glaciers - Amazing!

Just finished the Icefall Traverse in BC Canada on the 108's. Everything from creek crossings and dirt to 50cm of blower pow on a glacier. The ski is amazing! Thanks for your company ethos and stoke. Looking forward to getting a 98 or something similar for light spring set up. Cheers!

T2B - The Intention is a Shape-Shifting Joy

While the standard buzz words easily apply to the Intention 108—damp, playful, stable, etc.—what stood out to me most was its ability seemingly adapt to most conditions you get on a typical early spring resort day at altitude in CO: light pow, wind distributed chalk, refrozen chunk, crunchy cord, and the occasional steel pipe and sculpted transition. In the reverse camber 188cm length, I’ve primarily skied these boards at the resort, despite originally purchasing them for my general touring pow-sticks. This switch partly came from simply missing the deeper days in the bc, but mostly from discovering just how fun and predictable they are in-bounds. On the techy side of things, I genuinely feel that this Algal core/sidewall combo allows this reverse camper ski to handle the chatter better than most other rev-camber skis I’ve used. If you’re considering if and where you want to take this ski, don’t sleep on these being dedicated resort skis or elusive 1-ski unicorn quiver.

Unbelievable in Trees

I happened to be at Hoodoo the day WNDR and mountain supply brought their demo skis out, and got to try the camber and reverse camber versions of the intention 108. I was only able to hob on the pin binding versions of these skis, but had a blast in the soft and heavy snow that day. The camber version I tried was a little too long, and the reverse a little too short, but both were clearly capable skis that I would have enjoyed even more in the correct sizes. The reverse camber was unbelievable in the trees, and a longer size would lend more stability that I lacked on the groomers.
