Factory seconds are largely due to minor imperfections that do not hinder the integrity or durability of the ski or board.  We back the warranty on these just as we would on any production A-grade ski or board. All factory seconds are listed at a significant discount below retail price based on the issue and model year. Explanations of specific issues are available upon request.

    • Lengths: 170, 177, 184, 191 cm
    • Dimensions (Tip-Waist-Tail): 147-120-136 mm
    • Radius: 20m @ 184 cm
    • Weight (per ski): 2100g @ 184 cm
    • Flex: Progressive - The tail begins with a medium to stiff flex, transitioning to stiffer through the mid section and decreasing gradually toward the tip. This flex pattern creates a solid platform for stability in the tail and underfoot while the medium tip flex handles crud and variable conditions with ease. Because of its girthy nature and inkling for softer snow, the Reason 120’s flex does feel slightly softer than both the Intention and Vital since the flex is dispersed more throughout the wider platform.
    • Camber Profile: Camber - for versatility, greater edge contact on piste and a more traditional feel | Reverse - for the ultimate in playful, off-piste float, charging and pivotability
    • Intended Use: Deep powder, pillows, playful and creative skiing
    • Artist: Christian Johansen

    Great ski

Love this ski. Wanted to try reverse camber it was sold out so I got this. I've been on Bents the last 3 years but this reminds me a bit of the faction Candide 4.0 I had from 2015. A wide ski that's easy to get on edge and is great at blasting through crud. Has quickly become my go to resort/heli type ski.

Reason 120 - playful soul rider

I have 2 pairs of intentions (tour/resort) and was curious how much of a difference it would be with the reasons

I was very impressed at how it transformed the skiing to an even more surf and playful level. I still felt like I had the control that I did from the intentions and was able to navigate very tight trees on the exit skiing with far more confidence than expected on a ski that big.

You are still able to charge well, as well as going into a poppy and playful mode. Only tested with great Wasatch powder.

To borrow from Baby, I'm scared of skiing another ski and never skiing the rest of my whole life the way I ski when I'm with you, Reason 120 RC. I'm not sure why it took a couple years and a few different WNDR profiles to get to this ski, but on the grave of Patrick Swayze - I swear I'll never hesitate on such a ski again. Now here is the thing, I was worried it just didn't snow enough in CO to ski a wide ski, or rather, CO did have the safe terrain to enjoy a wide ski properly. You know what? I was wrong. Wrong not only in that this ski can make you smile while wiggling your hips on low-angle CO pow, but wrong that this ski is pow-specific. Recently, I had the pleasure (yes, pleasure) of a week of skiing breakable crust, mostly whited-out. At first I felt silly choosing a 120mm ski for these normally wretched conditions, but after the first run I recognized the beauty of wide-ski-life for variable conditions. More importantly, I was reminded again how a well constructed ski can carry the load when you find yourself worry about hooking a tip under a gnarly crust. Ultimately, for a reverse cambered ski, the Reason 120 is surprisingly stable and unsurprisingly playful. It's the right weight for such a ski and damnit it looks good too.

Yup, this ski is for dance people. It's for those who keep a smile on their face in any conditions, because they are committed to making all skiing look and feel fun. And on this ski, I will continue to have the time of my life ;-)

    Love these skis!

I am 5'6", 140 lbs and an expert backcountry skier. I have the Reason 120 in a 177 cm length, reverse camber. I have found these skis to be so much fun and much more versatile than I expected! They are floaty and fun but also really easy to turn and maneuver through trees. They have been my go-to boards this winter and I'm hoping for some good march and april storms so we can keep the party rolling!
