Algal Core

Algal Core snowboard cores are vertically laminated composites of biobased high density polyurethane and domestically sourced aspen. Engineered cross blocks are placed in the waist for optimal torsion flex. This combination reduces weight and offers damping properties otherwise unattainable in solid wood core construction while remaining stable and intuitive to ride. Polyurethane biobased carbon content ~41% by ASTM D6866-18 Method B.

Algal Wall

Algal Wall sidewalls are biobased cast polyurethane sidewalls that protect the Algal Core snowboard core and deliver better damping than a traditional, petroleum-based ABS sidewall. Unlike traditional composition techniques, we use a channel in the outside of the core as a mold for pouring in the liquid sidewall material. This creates a virtually seamless and unbreakable bond with the aspen as the sidewall hardens, increasing the overall structural integrity of the snowboard. This unique milling technique diverts plastic waste from the landfill compared to the traditional use of extruded plastic sidewalls. Polyurethane biobased carbon content ~67% by ASTM D6866-18 Method B.

Spiral Plate

Spiral Plate insert packs outperforms traditional aspen in pullout strength testing, resulting in greater durability and binding retention. SpiralMade™ materials are made using waste from our manufacturing process in Salt Lake City, diverting materials that would otherwise go straight to the landfill and using them to boost product performance.

Finally, Just The Board I Was Looking For!!

Since the majority of my riding is in the east, finding a playful and light board that can deal with "variable" conditions has always been a challenge. A Wonder Alpine team rider pointed me in the BELLEAIRE direction and I couldn't be more pleased! Literally a pound off my old deck, and has all the flex and playful feels without sacrificing any control - which comes in handy on hard-packed surfaces! I planned on it only being used for certain conditions, but it's now my daily driver and can't wait to take it out each time. TWO THUMBS UP on this board, would recommend it to anyone for any type of riding!

Swiss Army Knife

If you're looking for a board to grab no matter the conditions. Look no further. Powder✅ Groomers✅ Spring corn✅ Icy ✅. Wouldn't be the first choice for in the park but it definitely can hang especially in the transitions and bigger features. The aggressive camber profile keeps those edges dug in on hardpack days and the rocker in the nose helps this hog float when your wearing your snorkle on those DEEP days. Edge to edge feels very responsive, quick and most importantly stable thanks to that medium-stiff flex. Previously I was riding a United Shapes Cadet for over 5 seasons (275+ days) Can't wait to put even more days on this piece of snow surf science the fellas at wndr cooked up in the SLC lab. And I'll be back for another after this one's totally thrashed. The top sheet is made of a textured material which is great for shedding snow and keeping that light board even lighter on the lifts. It's also great for shedding stickers so leave those stickers you got in the shoebox, under your bed and let that beautiful top sheet do the talking. What are you doing still reading this post? Love this board!

It's perfect! Lightweight, flexible, great on powder, and just feels sharp. This board wants to go fast and feels smooth as butter to ride. Highly recommend.

Does it all

This board rips. It is pretty stiff allowing it to charge through anything that is thrown at it. Rips and carves on groomers, while floating on powder. I’ve found it’s stiffness comparable to the Salomon Speedway, while floating and carving similar to the Salomon Dancehaul. If you’re lookin for a board that does it all, get this. If you’re looking for a board that does it all AND goes uphill. Get the Belletour (or get both).

Extremely responsive with lots of pop

Waited until we had a few on snow days with the BelleAire.

Stoked to say it has been fantastic - extremely responsive with lots of pop. It excelled in all the terrain I threw it’s way. My K2 Alchemist was the closest comparison but the BA was able to navigate though trees much better. Happy to say this is easily one of my favorites, not to mention a great talking point.
